姣 Famous Green Beans with Cindy's Kitchen Chinese Black Pepper Sauce

  1. Wash fresh green beans thoroughly in clear, cold water. Cut off both ends.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, bring water to a gentle boil. Add green beans and cook, uncovered, 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender (you may need to experiment with the degree of doneness you like). Immediately drain the green beans in a colander and plunge them (blanch) into ice (or ice water) to bring the temperature down.
  3. Quick saute pressed garlic with olive oil for 30 seconds. Add beans and Cindy's Kitchen Chinese Black Pepper Sauce to the pan and mix for 30 seconds. Plate and enjoy the healthy and tasty dish (Plain steamed beans can be boring).
